Abigail's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on business torts, contract disputes, employment matters, and construction claims. She actively advises clients across a wide range of industries and throughout all phases of litigation.
Abigail’s litigation experience extends to numerous complex litigation matters, including catastrophic personal injury, commercial trucking cases, commercial premises liability, products liability, defamation claims, and local government and municipal actions.
She has represented clients in cases pending in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, Alexandria, Richmond, and Newport News Divisions. She has also been in courtrooms throughout Virginia and in the District of Columbia.
Prior to joining Hirschler, Abigail was an active civil insurance defense litigator at Bancroft McGavin Horvath & Judkins, P.C., in Fairfax, Virginia, where she gained substantial experience in U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, the Fairfax County Circuit Court, and DC Superior Court.
Following her graduation from the University of Richmond, T.C. Williams School of Law, she served as a law clerk at the Spotsylvania Circuit Court.
Additionally, while in law school, Abigail interned at WealthForge, a financial technology company, and provided support for its corporate governance process, intellectual property portfolio, securities regulation, and cybersecurity needs. She also completed internships at the Portsmouth Circuit Court and Davies, Barrell P.C.
Appeared for cases pending in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and the Western District of Virginia; DC Superior Court; and Virginia Courts.
Successfully represented regional and national companies as well as non-profit organizations.
Independently tried numerous cases in Northern Virginia General District Courts.
Routinely strategizes, drafts and argues contested motions and pleadings.

While earning her undergraduate degree at Old Dominion University, Abigail was a starting defender for the Monarch’s NCAA Division I women’s lacrosse team. She also completed data analytics research and presented her findings under the Political Science Department’s Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program.
During her clerkship with the Spotsylvania Circuit Court, Abigail was a member of the Rappahannock Area Veterans Docket team.
