Overview

"Your business doesn’t stop for you to resolve legal issues when they arise. As your trusted advisor, I take on the burden of those issues so you can focus on what truly matters:  running your business."

John’s legal practice focuses on helping clients successfully manage and resolve commercial disputes both in and out of court. He advises clients on matters of varying size and complexity:  from smaller companies needing assistance with contract enforcement and debt collection to large companies defending themselves in complex contract and tort litigation.

Working as a bookkeeper prior to law school, John knows the importance of managing complex issues efficiently without sacrificing quality. He employs this same approach when providing legal services.

As a law student at the University of Richmond School of Law, John was a member of the Walter Scott McNeill Law Society, the Moot Court Board, and the Client Counseling and Negotiation Board. He was honored with the CALI Awards for Excellence in Torts, Property, Constitutional Law, Federal Courts, Professional Responsibility, and Discovery in the Digital Age.

Beyond the Law

Beyond the Law

Outside of the office, John is an avid sports fan, cheering on his beloved Nationals and Wizards in person whenever he gets the chance.  He spends the rest of his time playing basketball; hiking and running through Virginia’s beautiful parks; patronizing the theatre; going to stand-up comedy shows; and supporting local breweries and wineries.
