Hirschler Fleischer announces the expansion of its healthcare practice with the addition of Richmond-based partner Emily M. Scott. Scott represents clients in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Hirschler Fleischer, she was a director at Hancock Daniel Johnson & Nagle.

Scott routinely represents healthcare providers, hospitals and healthcare systems in matters related to contract disputes, business tort actions, medical staff matters and alternative dispute resolution.

Scott is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Federal Bar Association and the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys.

She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, her master’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and her law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law.

Hirschler Fleischer’s healthcare practice advises healthcare industry clients, including hospitals, health systems, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, physicians, medical practices and health care businesses on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters, litigation and disputes.
