Some of the Director’s responsibilities will include:

This includes overseeing the effective use of a customer relationship management (CRM) system to manage client contacts, interactions, and business development opportunities;
  • Monitoring trends in clients’ industries, competitive activities, potential new opportunities, and related information to inform the firm’s business development and planning;
  • Overseeing the firm’s response to relevant RFPs and other opportunities by preparing timely, high-quality pitches and proposals, while also maintaining a current database of the firm’s experience and qualifications for use in proposals, marketing materials, the website, and intranet communications;
  • Assisting the Board of Directors in defining and communicating the firm’s market position, implementing a cohesive branding strategy, and ensuring consistent brand integration across all marketing and business development efforts;
  • Working with practice group leaders to formulate annual business development budgets that closely align with the targeted business development plans; and
  • Working with administrative directors to identify, develop and implement client events and leverage sponsorship opportunities.
