In a December 15 story in Law.com’s Mid-Market Pro, Courtney Paulk shed insight on how law firms are making financial plans for 2023. As firms watch for how economic factors might impact different practice areas, Paulk shed light on her expectations for key areas.

“We generally expect demand to remain flat. However, we do anticipate an increase in reorganizations, bankruptcies and restructuring,” she said. “Of course, it will not be surprising to experience some slowness in real estate development based on forecasted economic conditions.” She added that the firm’s construction practice remains strong thanks to a robust inventory of work.
