Overview

“Legal billing is just as much about the customer service as it is the numbers. I approach everything with a ‘how can I help’ instead of ‘that is not my problem’. A successful day means I have solved a problem and made an impact for an attorney, their clients and the firm.”

As the firm's director of billing and collection services, Patrick’s responsibilities include managing the cash cycle of the firm, ensuring timely invoicing and management of accounts receivable.

Patrick has more than a decade of accounting and billing experience, including over nine years in law firm settings. He has successfully led teams of billing specialists and accountants, managed e-billing operations, streamlined protocols to improve efficiency, and worked closely with attorneys and clients to ensure accurate, timely billing.

Prior to joining Hirschler, he worked for Freeman Mathis & Gary as their e-Billing Manager.

Beyond the Law

Beyond the Law

Patrick originally hails from the windy city of Chicago, leaving halfway through college in search of warmer weather. Landing in Atlanta, Patrick has spent the last 20+ years with his husband there but they are excited to start a new adventure in Richmond to experience life beyond traffic.

With less time commuting, Patrick can spend more time rooting on his Atlanta Braves in the spring/summer and Green Bay Packers in the fall/winter. Aside from being an avid sports fan, Patrick enjoys spending time with his three fur-kids (Nash, Lucy, and Dolly), catching some fish, and trying new restaurants.
