Q:  Why Hirschler?

A:  Hirschler offers interesting and diverse legal work in a supportive and professional environment. People at Hirschler are genuinely nice and willing to collaborate on work projects, charitable events and other firm activities. Firm leadership is approachable and genuinely cares about the happiness of the lawyers and staff. In many ways, Hirschler is a family.

Q:  You spent a summer at Hirschler but began your practice at another law firm. What brought you back?

A:  Hirschler offered me a unique opportunity to develop my healthcare practice. I was drawn to the firm’s multidisciplinary approach to serving the healthcare industry—an approach that would allow me to collaborate with lawyers in all areas of the firm to best serve the needs of healthcare clients. Once I met my potential colleagues, I knew the firm was a good fit for me both personally and professionally.

Q:  You were a high school Latin teacher before you pursued your law degree. What makes you glad you chose the practice of law?

A:  Unlike Latin, the practice of law continues to evolve. The only constant is change! I am thankful to have a career that keeps me engaged and an industry focus (healthcare) that requires me stay on top of new developments in the law.

Q: You’re a member of the firm’s healthcare industry team. What are some of the benefits of working in a multidisciplinary practice group?

A:  Collaboration with other practice areas is critical to developing an industry practice.  A multidisciplinary industry approach allows the firm to provide a wide range of legal services to our traditional healthcare clients. As healthcare issues impact more and more businesses, a collaborative approach enables us to offer greater value to our existing clients.

Q:  If you had to describe the Hirschler culture in three words, what words would you choose?

A:  Supportive. Professional. Entrepreneurial.
