On May 3, 2022, Hirschler employment partner Jaime Wisegarver and Kaufman & Canoles Senior of Counsel Neil Talegaonkar hosted a Virginia CLE seminar on issues related to computer theft. The seminar was entitled “The Human Drama of Competition: Issues Related to Computer Theft in the Employment Context.” The presentation was part of the 31st Annual Employment Law Update Seminar 2022.
Jaime and Neil covered several Federal and State claims, including topics on: Virginia Computer Crimes Act, Virginia Uniform Trade Secrets Act, statutory business conspiracy, Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, Stored Communications Act and Defend Trade Secrets Act.
