Courtney Paulk Profiled Among the Virginia 500 in Virginia Business Magazine

Courtney Paulk was featured in the 2023 “Virginia 500” published in the September 2023 issue of Virginia Business Magazine. The Virginia 500 catalogs the Commonwealth’s most powerful leaders across 19 major sectors and the special issue profiled Paulk as a leader within the legal industry.

“As president of Hirschler and head of the firm’s litigation section, Paulk brings deep and broad experience in the construction industry, advising public and private owners, developers, contractors and subcontractors,” the profile said. Virginia Business highlighted her leadership of the 90+ attorney firm since 2018, including the recent relocation of the Tysons office to facilitate continued growth through the recruitment of top talent in the region.

The profile added that, outside of work, “Paulk is a champion ultra-distance swimmer who has completed the ‘Triple Crown of Open Water Swimming’ — swimming the circumference of Manhattan and crossing the Catalina Channel and the English Channel — twice.” In fact, Paulk noted that her most valued profession is a rock from the shoreline of France that she got after completing her first English Channel swim in 2012.
