Overview
“Whether at the negotiating table or in the courtroom, I believe effective advocacy is built on meticulous attention to detail and a constant drive to improve on behalf of my clients.”
Kira’s litigation practice draws on her background in both private practice and public service. She first joined Hirschler as a summer associate, where she developed her legal research and writing skills and gained exposure to client meetings, discovery, and court proceedings. During law school, Kira interned with the Office of the Attorney General of Virginia, where she supported attorneys in the Environmental Law Section by conducting legal research, preparing litigation documents, drafting motions, and attending court hearings throughout the Commonwealth.
Prior to law school, Kira spent several years as a paralegal, managing a high-volume caseload and working closely with clients while navigating evolving legal and regulatory requirements. Her experience across different legal settings provides her with a practical understanding of case management, client service, and the litigation process.
Beyond the Law
Beyond the Law
A Richmond native, Kira values having family nearby and makes spending time with them a priority. An avid reader, she is particularly drawn to science fiction and counts Octavia Butler among her favorite authors, admiring Butler’s imaginative storytelling and perceptive exploration of human nature. Kira and her husband also share a love of travel, with a particular fondness for the Caribbean and Aruba at the top of their list. Closer to home, she enjoys exploring art and history museums, baking chocolate chip cookies, and bringing spirited, Olympic-level competitiveness to board game nights.
