Andy Sherrod Participates as Panelist for VBA Employment Law Conference

On September 30, 2021, employment partner Andy Sherrod was a panelist at VBA’s 51^st Annual Conference on Labor and Employment Law. The panel of plaintiff and defense employment lawyers provided an overview of recent legislation from the 2021 General Assembly affecting the workplace, including topics such as, the new Virginia Overtime Wage Law, the expanded Virginia Human Rights Act, the protection of employees using cannabis oil, and the expansion of employment rights to home health and domestic workers.
