In an article published on May 26, Richmond Times-Dispatch reporter Lily Betts chronicles the open water swimming accomplishments of Hirschler’s own Courtney Paulk.
The article highlights Courtney’s achievement as the first marathon swimmer to complete a “Triple Triple” – that is, completing the sport’s “Triple Crown” (swimming across the English Channel (21 miles); the Cataline Channel (20 miles); and circumnavigating Manhattan (28.5)) three separate times.
