Overview
Jessie Cooke advises clients on a broad range of commercial real estate matters. She specializes in the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate, including, representing borrowers in the negotiation of traditional financing, mezzanine financing, and preferred equity agreements.
Prior to joining Hirschler, Jessie practiced at a boutique transactional firm where her practice consisted of real estate, corporate, and private securities work. Before entering private practice, she gained experience through judicial internships with the Honorable Stephen R. McCullough of the Supreme Court of Virginia and the Honorable Mark R. Colombell of the United States District Court, while attending the University of Richmond School of Law.

- Represented borrowers in the negotiation of senior and mezzanine financing for commercial real estate assets
- Represented borrower in negotiation of forbearance agreement for distressed commercial loan
- Represented landlords in commercial leasing of medical office buildings
- Negotiation of purchase and sale agreements for medical, industrial, retail, and multifamily assets
- Represented client in the contribution of multifamily asset to a REIT
- Prepared private placement memorandums for private equity offerings including Delaware statutory trusts (DSTs) and tenant-in-common agreements (TICs)
- Advised clients in the creating of Delaware statutory trust entities and related entity formation
