As the legal community braces for an uptick in litigation as courts re-open and Covid-related disputes lead to claims, Wayne Travell discusses the role digital court reporting will have in the busy court system in a LegalTech News story on October 26, 2020. Many expect digital reporting software to become more widely adopted as using traditional stenographers may not be enough to keep up with trial demands.

Travell suggests the move to digital reporting is one attorneys would be comfortable with making, especially as it has already been deployed by multiple state and federal courts for many years. “If it’s demonstrated to be reasonably reliable, I can see it moving in that direction because of cost considerations,” he offered.
