This week marked a momentous achievement for Hirschler as we successfully secured rezoning approval for Amazon Data Center Services, paving the way for the development of an expansive 7.25 million square feet of cutting-edge data center facilities on a sprawling 870-acre tract of land nestled within King George County, Virginia. The Hirschler team included Charlie Payne, Logan Brunette, Katie Nix and Samantha Blake.
This landmark project stands as one of the largest data center campuses ever greenlit not only within the state of Virginia but across the entire U.S. Moreover, it bears significant importance as an integral component of the Governor's foremost economic development initiative.
As Amazon commits to an impressive $35 billion investment aimed at establishing multiple data center campuses throughout the state of Virginia by the year 2040, our achievement underscores the remarkable potential this endeavor holds for both regional and national economic growth.
